Rolla

Rolla is a Flutter camera and editing toolkit for photographers who love the feel of film without giving up the convenience of a phone. As a photographer myself, I built it out of the kind of small, practical tools I kept wishing existed.

Frame turns any photo into an EXIF-labeled shot, reading camera, lens, focal length, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and date taken, then laying it out in a customizable frame (Black Minimal, Polaroid, adjustable border thickness, optional brand logo). When EXIF data is missing, the app falls back to manual input so the frame still comes together. Frames export at full original resolution, ready to share.

Film Roll loads a virtual roll of film, Kodak Gold 200, Kodak Portra 400, Fuji Superia, Fuji Acros 100, CineStill 800T, each with its own color character and shot count. Rolls can randomly light-leak or fog a frame, just like real film, with some stocks more prone to it than others.

Polaroid mode prints out a shot and develops it in real time, shake the phone to speed it up. Multi Exposure stacks up to 5 shots into a single frame, with Additive, Average, Bright, and Dark blending modes. Color Filter applies classic film-look grades, including Ilford HP5, Provia, Velvia, and Astia.

The built-in Light Meter reads a scene's available light, then lets you adjust shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and exposure compensation, with the other settings recalculating automatically to match.
