Rolla Frame

Rolla Frame is a simple app for photographers and photo enthusiasts who want to add an aesthetic touch to their shots, complete with the technical details behind each capture. As a photographer myself, I built it out of the kind of small, practical tools I kept wishing existed, a clean way to show the story behind a photo, not just the photo itself.

Pick a photo from your gallery, and Rolla Frame automatically reads its EXIF metadata, camera, lens, focal length, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and date taken, then arranges it into a customizable frame around the photo. When EXIF data is missing, such as photos re-processed through WhatsApp or Instagram, the app falls back to manual input so the frame can still be completed.

Frames export at full original resolution with no quality loss, ready to share directly to Instagram or any other app.

The app also includes a built-in light meter. Point it at a subject to measure the available light, then adjust shutter speed, aperture, ISO, filters, and exposure compensation, with the other settings recalculating automatically to match.
